they shut the fishing down completely in ontario till 3rd saturday in june which sucks cause theyre done spawn by may long weekend every year

We’ve got very dated regulations that they do not seem interested in changing

@@bruno12746 and there are some fisheries, such as in the UP of MI that have an open season year round and the Muskies are just fine. I don’t think most anglers these days, that care about the species, would target them during the spawn anyway. But once the spawn is complete, it’s game on.

@@MuskyMastery yea dude here on nipissing and the French it’s shut right down there was one section that opened first week of June in the west nipissing area and we would absolutely slaughter them on points humps all kinds of mid lake structures water is often at 68f at this time
