@@petemaina7073 tough day on Barbee only one fish was caught out of 23 boats and it wasn’t us. Found a nice fish that wouldn’t commit earlier in the day. Came back to it later in the bite window and there were two in the same are that we raised several times. They were more interested but just wouldn’t finish before we ran out of time.

Just spend 16 hours on the fox river this weekend. Landed a fat 44 incher at 3 a.m. caught him up shallow in 3 feet of water on a small handmade bucktail. So your information Is spot on with my latest catch. Thanks Pete 🙏

Early June N WI last two years have seen big fish related to midlake structure but have not hooked up. Just curiosity seekers. The lures and presentation suggestions are my first course of action!

They are a little more educated every year, so it definitely pays to mix it up as much as possible on types and retrieves

How would I catch these guys from the bank? What should I use and where should I cast?

Springtime is probably the best time to find them from the bank. Try and search out new weed growth areas!!! They will be in the shallows as they warm up feeding on bait fish.

pete, i see muskie exiting local canal into main lake past 2 weeks every morning. they are not hitting . crankbaits, crawlers, spinners, tubes...notta. so close i could net one from above. They hug the boat lauch wall back and forth between big lake every AM. Not one bite. any help?

Sounds like spawning fish. Probably not gonna get them to bite since they are reproducing and not focused on eating
