Early Season POW! Turbo Builds Continue!

The first few rides of the season on our new Ski Doo Freeride and Lynx Shredder Turbos have been great! Lots of new snow allowed us to get some treelines in and start to get after it. In addition to the riding, we have some wrenching to do. Watch as we just about finish up these turbo builds, and get out for a couple great rides with some friends!

Lots more to come. This was a prototype and we didn't want to risk crushing an early season rock. However Tayler and Dave's production sleds are in and we plan on throwing a leg over one this weekend.

I dunno man…36” on a doo is squirrely enough as is. Rode a 34” for about 15 minutes and it felt uncontrollable. That being said, my shredder ds 4100’s skis with the 36” stance makes it difficult (physically) to sidehill in all but the perfect snow conditions. I’ve heard swapping out the doo skis for the lynx and putting the lynx skis on the 34” stance doos is supposed to take care of the sluggishness of the lynx and the squirrely characteristics of the 34” doo.

The 34” is a bit squirrelly at first, especially on the trail and especially if your alignment/toe out isn’t perfect. Give it a couple of days and you won’t want to go back though, it is so nimble and excellent for downhilling

After having your 9r 146 last season and the Lynx 850 146 do you miss those sleds in anyway over your freeride and Lynx turbo sleds ? We are debating getting a next level up fun sled either 850 146 from Lynx or doo or a 850/9r 146

We got 146 NA’s as well. A 146 Freeride and a 146 9R. They are just so fun, especially when the snow isn’t the best. We just got off the mountain after riding them for the first full day and it was the ideal track length for the conditions we have. 146 builds vid coming soon

Feels great with the 15" wide track. Best handling ski-doo in the steep no doubt. It's the stock 34" a-arms, we had a set on hand so we threw them on. Apparently they don't work with the stock freeride shocks although I didn't have a problem running them for a day. Swapped for Raptors and now it's feeling even better
