Mike you have made me realise an important fact about cruising/sailing. For the past 23 year, I have toured most of Northern Europe, first first on a motorbike then in a sports car. We would plan our daily trips from one hotel/town to the next, set off and arrive at the predicted time and place without fail . I now realised that with sailing, there is no such thing as predictability, you just head in that direction and see here the wind and tide take you, if you get there you do,if you don't,
