Your docking is nice calm and controlled . Mine is reminiscent of early breakdancing. Good show.

We have just done a trip from Pwllheli, Dun Laoghaire, Arklow, Kilmore Quay, Fishguard and Aberystwyth. Your videos are a go to source of information to back up the passage planning and pilot books. I suspect that you don’t realise what an invaluable resource you have provided to the rest of us. If we are ever in the same place at the same time I’d like to say hello and show my appreciation for what you do. Best wishes Steve (Serenity Pwllheli)

Hi Steve, well I’m sure we must be in the same place at the same time at some point. So will look forward to saying hello. Thanks for the kind words mike

Aaah Mike, you're spoiling us at the minute with all these video's. So good. As I've said before, you really do do a great job, not just with the filming etc but i/we learn more from you than another channel. Keep it up mate. 👍👍

Hi Gav, thanks for the kind words matey, I’ll do me best. Cheers 🍻 mike

Hi Mike, I was the guy today in the Milford Haven in Celtic Spirit shouting over to you that I loved the videos. If your staying in Neyland again tonight and your able to pick this up, further up the haven is very pretty and well worth a day exploring. Swing moorings in Lawrenny or quite a few spots to anchor. Keep up the good work 👍

Hi agian, we’ve looked into sailing further on down and quite fancy the idea but our minds are not made up yet due to the changes we see in the weather and our own time restrictions. Cheers 🍻 mike

Thank you very much for the nice Video. It is ever a pleasure to follow you if you sail. I am from Berlin and sail in the north and on the baltic sea on the shore. I intend to buy a LM 27 or if available a Scanyacht 290 from UK. Many regards, Erik😊

Hi Eric, nice to have you onboard. Good luck with the boat hunting mike

Another good one, thanks! And well done on the parking - I sail a long keeled boat and recognise the dreaded scenario of the wind taking the bow when I don’t want it to!

You will know the anxiety only to well then. New marina! New berth! Wind gusts! Keep calm and carry on! Keeps the rewards flowing 👍

great trip captured on film that Swansea marina is huge we walked around it in March lots of nice boats and very old sad boats , must take ages to get out the marina to the lock gate, you were fairly close to it , there was alot more marina further on . Swansea to where next ??

Lisa wants to go to Skomer if the weather permits so in that general direction for next move I think 🤔 Cheers 🍻 mike

Dale seems to be more built up since we were last there many years ago. Guess as a result of the anchorage ban to protect the sea bed environment
@sailingcosiloveit6 ай бұрын
Yes you’re not wrong there but they do have a visitors pontoon now to save you anchoring. Also a dinghy pontoon on the beach for going the chippy and the pub 😁

@@sailingcosiloveit they’re a chippy and pub now. Crikey it’s longer than I thought since we were there last 🤣🤣 in fairness we were only there 1 night. My son’ friend back home died of brain cancer that night

I was watching you anchored off Port Eynon, whilst sitting in a caravan on Oxwich Point! Told you I'd keep an eye open for you!! Are you going around to Cardiff? May catch you there.

Nice to know you had an eye on us. In Swansea at the moment and will probably head towards the Dale as the weather is supposed to fall bad next weekend or at least it has the possibility to do so. Regards mike

That's a shame. I'll have to get my boat back into commission and sail north and find you up there. Got a Sarum 28 named Swyn y Mòr.... keep your eye open for me sometime soon!

Hi Mike Anorher really good informative video. Me and my missus always get a cuppa and sit down and enjoy them.. One question ( youve probably already said it) did you get rid of the bow thruster? Im asking as you mentioned something in this video . Also is thisvthevreason that Swallow seems to be sailing better ( and a bit faster )for you? All the best Rich
@sailingcosiloveit6 ай бұрын
Hi Rich, ye I’ve blanked it off to see if there was any difference. Will probably list my findings at some point but yes that is definitely why she is sailing better. Regards mike
