The difference in the average speeds of two trains is 25km/h, the faster train takes 2 hours less to travel 150km than the slower train takes to travel 125km. Find the speeds of the two trains. help

Not only that, we don't know what car her husband drives. Actually we don't know if he has a car at all. Maybe he pulled her up with his scooter... But what colour is the scooter? There's no telling.

There's nothing in the problem statement that says he drives the same speed on the way home as he does to meet her. It says, "Everyday, driving at the same rate, her husband meets her at the station." I now that after picking my wife up I drive faster on the way home to reduce the amount of nagging/complaining time. Word problems I find many times involve the use of jargon, individual expressions and interpretation. I guess that's what makes them fun too.
