Wow…it looks beautiful and peaceful, since yesterday here in Midwest Germany we get battered with heavy rains and Windgusts to 100km/h, two of my big potted Ramblerroses flipped over 😳 and it’s such a nasty weather…still to warm here for snow…enjoy ❤

Yes, I think I prefer snow to strong winds, but I don't think this snow will lie for long. I am still hoping some of my roses will hang around.

No, it's probably two or three months early for snow, but it doesn't usually last that long in Herefordshire, which is not that far north, a few days to a week is average. The north suffers more, but I remember living in London when there was snow on the ground from late December 1962 until early March 1963, but that was really exceptional. Quite often we don't get any snow in the winter this far south.

I saw one pheasant Nik. Do I need to go to Specsavers? Joking! Yes, Christmas card like. I can't remeber the last time I saw snow on Christmas Day, or Santa come to that.
