Great summary. My goal these past few years is to keep reinvesting dividends until I retire in six years and am at $4,100 per month. I truly regret not starting earlier in life, although better late than never. Keep the great content flowing.

Thanks, Mark, for an interesting presentation on these three dividend-paying stocks. I currently own TROW, and like its faster dividend growth over the long term. Good stuff!

Thanks from the other side of the world🎉 I wonder why bother buying individual stocks when you can get the same return or even much higher, if you invest in just one ETF like XYLD ( 9.4% div.)or JEPI (7% div.) That's what I do, anyway.
@nilsfranz1236 ай бұрын
The upside is very limited with these ETFs but the dividend is great
@MarkRoussinCPA6 ай бұрын
Limited upside as mentioned by the other user. Understand how those yields are generated

I came across your channel through this video-case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments.

You're correct. I think the smartest way to go is to spread out your investments. By putting your money into different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and stocks from other countries, you can lower the risk if one part of the market goes bad.

Talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have about 100k to test the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll email her and hope to get in touch soon.

How as 10 thousand to invest. I own JPM 9.4 shares I own PG and I have 4 shares. It will take for every to reach 500 a month
@bubblechaser53696 ай бұрын
My opinion ... if current price is below your Average Cost, then buy some. Some can be 1 share, $5, or 25% of a share ... there are many ways to grow butt it's ALL going to take time
@yohjijames14136 ай бұрын
It takes time but you can get there. Work hard, spend less than you earn and save a little every month. Let the amounts build up and in few years you will look back and see the results. You say you have 9.4 JPM and 4 PG, aim to get to 11 and 6 by the end of September, then aim for 13 and 8 by the end of the year. It feels hard at first but you can get there! You’ve done the hardest part by getting started- well done 👍🏼

If you invest VOO $200000 your invest will grow by an average 10% which is $20000 every year on the top of a devedend. Way better return

I just invest in SCHD. More diversification and higher yield. But it only pays once a quarter.

Not really, VOO dividend yield is only 1.21%

my short-term goal is to make 500 a month in dividends to help my mom retire and long term 5k a month.

Could you do this same video with divided ETFs? Individual stocks scare me. I just want to buy and hold and see some growth. I gratefully have roughly 1800 shares of SCHD fwiw.

No one has 85k or 10k. Those are steep hills to climb. I would have been more interested to see you run ABR, HTGC, Main, or STWD
@Mandapanda63456 ай бұрын
Hey Mark! I have a question for you! I recently came into a 100k inheritance, and I'm conflicted as to where to invest it, some of my ideas are A. All in on SCHD B. A 33.3% split between QQQM, SCHD and SPY? Or maybe 60/40 between SCHD and some other stock? I wanted to hear what you think! I'm lucky though, Im only 18, so I have plenty of time for compound interest
@jgibbs61596 ай бұрын
How can you recommend buying any stock that has a P/E over 17 (PG)? The market is so disconnected from reality during the last 5 years, you're playing with fire when you get in the 17+ P/E range - imo.
@terrycoye33736 ай бұрын
Would investing in an ETF like DIVO be a better way to achieve the monthly income goal? DIVO’s share price growth and total return are lower than PG+JNJ+TROW, but it’s monthly yields are higher and its share price growth stays ahead of inflation in the long run.

How is that $500 every month?? Quarterly is not the same as mothly. Seems like you should know this.
@MarkRoussinCPA6 ай бұрын
If 3 different companies pay you quarterly on different months, you will get 12 separate payments, 1 per month
