Agreed. You cannot betray your spouse’s trust, just say sorry and think things will go back to normal. There have to be consequences for their actions in order to maintain respect. Men and people in general respond to consequences, NOT mere words like “if you do it again, I’m leaving.” I give ONE advance warning from the start of a relationship to stay loyal/honest. Then I govern myself accordingly if they get out of line. I learned that from my father. Once I actually applied it, the dating world became much better for me.

It takes maturity, growth and a real man to admit mistakes and work to make things right. You can see the place you hold in someone's life by his willingness and efforts to repair things, to learn and understand the correct ways. Sometimes trust cannot be earned back once lost, especially when the other person knew that what they were doing was a dealbreaker and hurtful to you. Other times, if you forgive, do it from your heart and don't hold the mistakes against them, just make sure they've proven a change with actions and they know if they do it one more time, they lose you because your heart is not a toy for anyone to play with.

These g e m s that are being dropped is so true. Trust truly has to be w o n back. Personally when someone has misused my trust it's very hard to let someone back in because my heart becomes closed.

22:30 - 23:30: I agree to an extent. God used the worst of the worst to get his message out, to let people know his love is real. When it comes therapy, you can’t really put your life in the hands of one who has “holes in their socks”. While giving wisdom, you take a portion of that energy with you. Whether it be negative or positive, that is the side effect of the coin flip. I just feel like if I give my life and issues to a therapist or relationship guru, I gotta know all around that I’m not spending my money on an investment that May backfire on me & have looking like goofy in goof troop

I know you asked Tony specifically but I think it depends on what it is that is being called high maintenance. Having to continually check a man on any type of abusive behavior of course, is not considered high maintenance. If you’re checking your man on something that makes you feel disrespected or self degrading, I would not call that high maintenance. If it’s something materialistic then that could be high maintenance.
