Whenever someone answers your good, kind, bubbly energy with disrespectful, snappy or unwaranted energy please prove them how wrong they are by creating boundaries and distancing yourself. We are only responsible for what we say and do, not for what others imagine of us based on their own insecurities, past issues etc. If there is one thing i cannot stand, it's for someone to mistreat me, take my kindness for weakness, my friendliness for flirt and think we're gonna do the dance where they act however and i stay. Not gonna happen. Just be the best version of yourself in any situation knowing it is enough, without feeling the need to bend over backwards explaining and proving yourself to people who are commited to misunderstanding you. I would have asked him from the 1st second "do we have a problem" and not allow any type of disrespect. Yes men read women, but a good character man will not interpret you wrong and act on the reading.

@@mixedness87f35 I didn’t forget that was her supervisor & I thought he came back and apologized for his behavior. I’ve dealt with a boss being mean to me & I avoided being around them if I could & eventually said something because I don’t tolerate disrespect especially if I’ve done nothing to warrant it, or I kept it short & to the point if possible. He is attracted to her. Faithful married man can feel resentful when they are attracted to other women other than their wives, why? because that goes against what they believe of themselves, they said their vows to be faithful and for you to show up in their lives and challenge that (just by being yourself not even hitting on them) makes them feel uncomfortable, that is why they get defensive and become rude. It is like, they want you but they can't have you, because they are already married, or you do not let them in, or both. The huge sign that it is true, is that he told her right away he was married, it is like he was trying to protect him from himself. But just like Tony said, that shows also that he is very immature and has issues.
