Some random billion years ago: Early Sun: Aaawww I just gave birth to this planet Baby Earth: Goo goo gah gah The present: Sun: Breakfast! I'm going to make your favorite stuff: light! It'll be ready in 8 minutes. Early Earth: Thanks mom! 4-6 billion years from now (sun is just small enough not to kill us) Alcoholic red giant Sun: *sips 19,000% alcohol* Get ready for fudging school. Earth: Mom I'm 10.54 billion years old, I don't need to go to school. Alcoholic red giant Sun: Why aren't you married to the moon. Earth: Coz it's incest. You've been watching too much Game of Thrones. 7 billion years from now (now it's big enough to kill us) Physcotic red giant Sun: *expands* Earth: You're starting to get fa- *dies* Physcotic red giant Sun: Don't talk to your mother like that, it's rude and painfu- wait I just killed one of my children and it's Earth. Finally I don't have to argue anymore! 8 billion years from now Physcotic red giant sun: *novas* Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus (who call their child that?), Neptune: Fudge you mom, you don't have enough mass to keep us altogether with gravity! White dwarf Sun: Crap *cries* Well that's it kids, that's the life story of the sun!

I recently read an article about a theory of the early solar system, explaining why ours is so different from most solar systems. In first instance, Earth wasn't forming. Instead there were some super-Earths, which were flung towards the Sun by inwards moving Jupiter. Saturn moved in even faster, tugging on Jupiter and by gravitional resonance pulled each other back out again. This cleaned the inner solar system from most debris, and the change in orbit would have caused torrents of asteroids to move towards the inner solar system, from which the Earth formed. I could be wrong somewhere, but it certainly was an interesting read.

Dear respectable Anton When you were colliding dwarf planets together, have you noticed what I have - certain cap in size of dwarfs. When I tried to grow planet with collisions, I started to lose mass around 6*10e21 to 1.5*10e22 kg and the planet shrunk down to like 5*10e21. Only manual editing of mass of the planet to 2*10e22 kg got me over that area. Have you noticed that? Is there a bug in current version? Thank you (or anyone) for any answer.

17th! Finally, was waiting for a video about this! One question: Why are the ice giants denser than the gas giants if the lighter material is blown farther out?
@dialup55838 жыл бұрын
they assume there has been movement among the outer four or more giants
@cvbghj1328 жыл бұрын
Well, You have to remember, Gas giants are made of mostly Gas. Ice giants usually have a much larger amount of Solid, more compressed matter.
@ACoroa8 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. Maybe it has to do with the size of the planets. Jupiter and Saturn are several times larger than Uranus and Neptune. If you choose a radius within Saturn and Jupiter that matches Uranus or Neptune, they probably would be denser, but this is just a guess.
@cvbghj1328 жыл бұрын
Well, that just depends on the density of the gases.

@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim8 жыл бұрын
my son Its not perfect, and plate tectonics did not give the Earth an atmosphere. It was the comets and meteors, many of which contained Methane and CO2 inside of them, which gave the Earth it's atmosphere. And, again, Earth is not alone in the way it formed. Mars, for example, formed in almost the exact same way and also had plate Tectonics (Olympus Mons is a Volcano) and had water on it, and has evidence it had life on its surface.

+Anton Petrov (WhatDaMath) 1. take like sirius B (as a template to make a quark star) 2. turn off realistic mode (or it might turn to a black hole or its size will be bigger) 3. make the mass 3-5 suns (quark star theoretical mass) 4. unlock the density and decrease it, or lock the mass and type in the Radius like 10 km (idk the theoretical size for a quark star) and there you have it, a quark star (even though the temperature would not adapt to the following mass).

Please use articles like "the" or "a" in your videos, they are great, but the titles look kinda weird
@3DPDK6 жыл бұрын
The languages of Eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine, etc) do not use articles as in English. They are implied. It is just as difficult for a native Russian talker to use "a" and "the" as it is for you not to use them. Mr Petrov's English is spoken very well and clearly understandable. In my opinion his remnant Russian grammar applied to English gives his narrations character, and I recommend he not strive for perfect English in his speech or his writing. Compared to some of the horrendous titles and terrible grammar found on KZbin, the occasional missing "a" or "the" is both forgivable and understandable in Anton's videos.
If you saved this, did you see this planet had a life likelihood?

+Captain America When did he show Thea hitting the "earth"? technically it wasn't even the earth yet, since these two planets colliding is what formed the earth and the moon, that's what I meant, sorry for causing any misunderstanding. But those two planet eventually coalesced into the earth, while the still molten rock ejected from the collision was orbiting the young earth at only 22,000 km, which is where and how the moon formed, it was a lot closer then than it is now, which is why it's believed that one day earth will lose it's moon due to it's decaying orbit, and eventually it will be just another celestial body, orbiting the sun instead of the earth.
