We got a Fire Dragon maple last October from Backbone Valley Nursery. It’s doing really well. It’s grown at least a foot. And, the fall color was fantastic. We’re in Burnet. Our daughter and family are in Leander.

Hi Cindy. The Bigtooth Maple is actually a Texas Native tree; Acer grandidentatum . It’s found in the Lost Maples State Park (thus the name) and throughout the canyons of the Edwards Plateau and Trans Pecos high lands.
