Earth pit resistance testing using Rishabh AET-23 earth tester

The ideal resistance of domestic service should be 5ohms or less. To achieve this value try to wet the pit by watering, as dry earth is a bad conductor particularly during dry summer season. If possible the burial depth of electrode pipe can be increased. This also reduces the resistance value. Method used is Fall of potential or 62 percent.
