Is Leeloo the 1st MTF transgender protagonist/love interest in a film? It's implied that her original form was a male, but when they reconstructed her body they made her into an attractive female. As the Priest says "He's a she?", implying that even he thought that she was supposed to be a male. & while it's not brought up in the film, does Leloo know that originally she was male but prefers being female given that she falls in love with Corbin Dallas & saves the world because he loves her as a female? So many questions are brought up by the implications of this idea that they just gloss over or completely ignore in this film from this concept.

Ohhh thats intresting is it reallly stated by somebody in the crew or cast that she is original a he? Because i mean 5000 years is quite some time to misinterpreted stuff. So mabey the prist was just wrong about it.🤔

I think the priest assumed it was a male, as a male would be a dominant being to save the world, or maybe thought of it like the savior Jesus as being male since he was a priest, this movie was made way back in what I would consider a time they movies weren’t really putting stuff like that in them for the most part. Just my thoughts though, you definitely raise a curious point for sure though

@@bryangar33 hmmm yes abolutly but then i would guess that the idea of the "supreme being" being a man comes from chistian times in the universe of the movie because they were pretty far in that future they depicted 😅

Don't ruin good film with transgender bs please. She was reconstructed from the DNA of the aliens in metal at the start of movie. Not cloned. Not brought back.
