It was criminal that we never got a 3rd season of MK Legacy. In my opinion, this was far superior to the 2021 movie. In particular, the castings in MK Legacy were infinitely better. Cary Tagawa returning as Shang Tsung was priceless. MK 2021 was a mediocre product which was watered down with a central character, Cole Young, who had a charisma bypass and didn't belong in the MK universe. Having an iconic MK legend like Goro being butchered in an attempt to prop up useless Cole was an epic fail also.

I just also saw some of the first season recently while hanging out at a friend's house. My friend and I saw the one scene where Quan Chi fooled Scorpion into believing the Lin Kuei froze and killed his wife, baby, and clan (Shang Tsung was in it too - an early Deadly Alliance...).

You've probably figured out by now. This series (Mortal Kombat: Legacy) aired on KZbin from 2011-2013. 2 seasons, 19 episodes. Not sure if true or not, but The 3rd season had completed filming (release slated for 2015 or 2016). It was never released though.

I have to say this is a very interesting mortal Kombat when I first seen it series but my heart will always belong to the original movie cuz I can't get that song out of my freaking head what it plays from the beginning it asks you up for a fight I swear But In fairness the series allows you to get a little more in depth with the characters compared to the 90s movie that's like a fun ride that's hard to get off also seeing the original Shane that's like trader Joe's cookies right on to the ice cream Bam it's all good
