I get that they were going for the g1 look but Hoist looks boring. The T30 figure looked cooler. Plus that shoulder kibble is just as bad as Hoist's decision to work with the Constructicons.

As much as I hate to admit it, fans were asking for extreme G1 accuracy. Hoist gave them that. The shoulders have no excuse though.

I know I'm pretty late on this but uhhh.... the wheel "problem" on Optimus is actually intentional because that's how the trucks actually were. I'm not making this up if I tried, since Optimus Prime transformers into a Freightliner FL86 cab over semi truck, which purposely has the wheels like that for suspension when carrying trailers(I'm might be wrong since I'm not too knowledgeable on the trucks but I definitely remember the different wheels serving a purpose.)

Tbh I love earthrise! But yeah it does have its flaws, mainly the paint chipping. However we should suck it up since we’re going to be getting FRICKING BEAST WARS, like come on guys it not the end of the world tho yeah, the arm flaps bug me too..

Beast Wars is gonna be great, but in this instance it's not the G1 aspects. It's the flaws that stem from that. If they made a completely G1 accurate Hoist that was engineered amazingly, it wouldn't matter.

Don't care about Hoist anyway but I liked Wheeljack (if not for the lack of accessories), it's a nice little no frills figure of dear old Jackie. But being Italian there might be some personal bias in play. I'm still waiting for my Spinister from Amazon.it but at least I secured a price that's lower than normal for a deluxe here.

That was actually a joke. I'm a big fan of KR, and all of the effects are from Zero One, W and Build. He hasn't seen any of the series yet, though I did recommend he start by watching W.

My knowledge of Tokusatsu is pretty low. All I really know is the Godzilla series and Akibaranger. Also seen the Garo animated series, but that's not really traditional Toku. We just thought the sound effects would be a nice touch.

@@DrLockdown probably not, in most cases trucks like that that I see aren't that big, unless there ones that have been modified for utilitarian use I guess bigger trucks are more of an American thing I do think they may have gone a smidge too big in WFC probably as a reaction to complaints of smaller figures from previous lines.
