Yeah, he's amazing live. He struggles a bit in songs where there are harsh (e.g., growl) vocals with the singing, but that can be tough on any vocalist. But when he just sings, he usually nails it. Sometimes he sounds better live than on the albums, which seems hard to believe, given how amazing he sounds on record.
@Skycania3 жыл бұрын
Seen him live in Australia 5 separate times and travelled cross country every time because fuck missing out on it. Incredible every fucking time. The upside down mic flip, the play with other Soilwork members while they're jamming, always electric.

Lyrics: To watch the curtain fall Within an inch of the call A thousand reasons not one to divulge The sting of all that was You medicate so willingly As we endure the fall To normalcy You're far beyond the underlying forces Slight in a way untrue Wait where's the worth in holding on When the rope to which you cling has cut you off Now it's not the same Though I dream awakening to my Wasted days harboring the sorrows of a promise set to flames So why do we grieve Lying to, we're lying to, We lie ourselves to sleep They force what lives out of all What you turn away You turn away You're far beyond the underlying forces Slight in a way untrue Wait where's the worth in holding on When the rope to which you cling has cut you off You turn away You turn away Who told you to wait for me? You turn away (Who told you to wait for me?) You turn away

I need to know that Bjorn is not saying saying what I think he is saying. This work is so great in every aspect, lyrically and musically. Bjorn's lyrics translate to something entirely different and personal in contrast to what I was able to read in any lyric video for this track. It has such a great way of connecting to the listener beyond what is expected. Many thanks.
