That is one heck of a peace you composed holy moly! I here some serious video game vibes, but also it reminded me of the days when I played in wind ensemble in school. Especially the use of all the horns in the second half. But it seriously felt like something out of one of those highbrow JRPG‘s like Final Fantasy or something like that just before you’re about to enter a massive boss battle and you have five monster is bad guys chasing you at once.

Not a bad song but they literally could have shaved 4 minutes off the 1st 6 and it would have been much better. I'm all for dramatic build ups but this one was extremely repetitive and un-interesting over such a long period of time.

I'm a total sucker for a dream in static, but this song feels off. The mix isn't as crisp (midrange is a total mush) and feels as if it was an excuse for a drumsolo with Baard (nothing wrong with that, but gets a little flat overall) as there seems to be no melodies besides the "dramatic wall of noise" (overexaggerating). Looking forward to the rest of the songs, as i still love the band no matter the previous comments. Just my 2 cents, Peace

When you and your bro decide to try and find something cool, but then your bro gets there first and when he gets back you realise your bro actually has super destructive tendencies and is going to destroy everything you care about already so you gotta stop him, BUT THEN you realise that your bro was actually trying to save/protect the things you care about from what he just found and that you doomed it all by stopping him. Hate it when that happens.

I realize I'm spamming the comments at this point, but after having listened to this song more times than I care to count since the release, I'm taken back to the urgency of the climax points in A Dream in Static. I remember feeling the tenseness and urgency in that video and the song itself, the near panic when the light started to fade and the darkness starting to eat away at borrowed time. The same sense of urgency is even more prevalent in this video, just a build up of enormous proportions, fueled by the church organ. I constantly find myself sitting up straight and moving to the edge of my seat every time I re-watch this video, or even listen to it on Spotify. It's impossible to just listen to this song and not feel overwhelmed by panic and urgency, all the while just being overcome by sheer power.

First idea of the story: - In the beginning we are teleported to the dystopian ancient stone cathedral. Going from the main entrance on the path we see on the sides little models of mazes with the Greek style higher column with 2 warriors fighting with swords and in front on the levitating stone block we see 2 "guys" in the meditative position and behind them huge vertical chains. They are "waking up" emphasized dramatically with music theme which is exactly following narrative. Enormous cathedral door slide opens and monumental image of the Pandora's(Avatar) Hallelujah Mountains like landscape explodes with epic grandiose symphonic cinematic powerful release. - These 2 guys are starting the journey of exploration. They are made of stone and through stones are running bloodlines of life which is metaphor what we actually are ...pieces of ground/stone being alive/conscious part of our Mother Earth, and at the end returning gift of life to source becoming earth again in the infinite circle of life. These bloodlines have in some parts spiral like shapes which reminds me of Moana's goddess of nature Te Fiti(which is beautiful story of Nature and humans being part of it, and heart compassion to another Life as a greatest force of Nature). The spiral is metaphor to the footprint of Nature seen in snails/storm patterns/galaxies...golden ratio, Fibonacci sequence, fractals and also to the circle of life which looks circle in 2D but in 3D is the spiral forever going upwards symbolically to "infinite perfection". "To feel inspired, to fathom the power, To witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,To swing on the spiral..."- Tool Lateralus - We are then shown this beautifully depicted Pandora like stone world with the high floating mountains in the mist of the clouds. "Exploration" is essence of human. We are born into this world and have this primordial survival instinct or driving force to understand where we are and what we are. Every human has its own "ability" to go far and deep into this pursuit, but in essence there is no boundary and we all have this innate capacity since every atom of our existence is part of this Nature we only need to open our eyes/mind and "See". This stone world looks like perfectly in piece, but it is dead/lifeless. - Next stop is huge circular platform which is balanced and all along circumference attached to the same chains from the beginning to the big floating rocks distributed all around in the spherical dome structure. Its a complicated mechanism installed in this "gateway on the other side" like in the Alice in Wonderland Through the looking glass, and serves as a portal ...a mirror to the parallel "plane". And this is made to be closed. They quickly figure out how it works, and one of them menages to pass through the Gate leaving the other guy behind. - On the "other side" he sees Colosseum with the people with pyramid stones on their backs hunched over by the share weight looking in the ground roaming through the never ending mazes, and at the center of Colosseum 2 giant gladiators with full armor fighting with swords. This is exactly "living" version of the models we had in cathedral in the beginning. The guys sees the same chains which are seen throughout the story as a "mechanism of control", and its not in terms of maintaining perfect balance and equilibrium in nature but source of boundary and imposed "prison for our mind" like in Matrix. It keeps on people in basic survival mode as a lowest animalistic state of existence fighting with each other to prevail, in chronic existential stress with the burdens of everyday life. "Don't these talking monkeys know that, Eden has enough to go around?, Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys,Where there's one you're bound to divide it. Right in two." -Tool Right in two. "Angels on the sideline,Baffled and confused.Father blessed them all with reason. And this is what they choose." - Tool Right in two - Seeing this image of truth with tears in his eyes symbolically life force start flowing from his inner source and he realizes that the source of this "destruction" is the chains in the cathedral from beginning. The very lest place to look for, the sacred "temple of faith". He decides to break the chains and free the world from enslavement. -He starts running back and symbolically he is "infecting" the whole lifeless stone world with seed of life and the old world starts to collapse along the way. His "brother in arms"(Dire Straits) sees only destruction he causes without realizing that new birth of life must come with crumbling the old, which also depicts that new ideas and new ways of thinking/living always cause fight with the "old world" because fear of unknown, comfort zone. Even the revolutions came with the huge price and casualties they are breakpoints in human evolution and they are essential parts of human history. - At the last scenes brother chasing him back manages to catch him in front of the sacred cathedral and kills him with the "stone of wisdom" "in the name of God". Nevertheless, his seed of life reaches the chains and breaks them following the enlightenment of the "brave new world". The giant gladiators are freed, people with the pyramid backs for the first time look at the sky. "Finally free"(Dream Theater) they look up and see higher purpose of this Life. "Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven conscious of its fleeting time here."- Tool Right in two Seeing Frank comment about misusing our power as human causing devastating consequences I understand mostly reference to global climate change which is evident these days. But this is issue decades ago. The solution is to wake up and see the wonderful complex nature as a beautifully in-tuned organism with infinite intelligence. We are all part of that as a whole, we are all One. As an example I will give breath as the most essential "food" for survival, long before water and food. Trees/forests are lungs of the planet. They breath with us together at the same time, inhaling our C02 and exhaling 02 and we do the opposite. This is evidence that we are inclusive part of everything, since one part of breathing apparatus is inside your rib cage and other in the beautiful trees... which are being cut constantly and burning because of the global temperature increase. These threes are not piece of dead wood, they are actually living organism which breed , eat, talk to each other via roots, feel temperature changes, feel fear and sending stress calls to other trees via internet like web like in Avatar's Pandora. This is not si-fi, and its all backed up with science. We just need to "See".

@@ferruhokan1514 Thank you so much:) You, know it takes special kind of person to feel and appreciate this "material", and also to acknowledge and give love back, as you did, so thank you. And looking close you can observe that essentially in life you can actually see only yourself. Krishnamurti: "Observer is the observed." Little example: If I had a level of color blindness(as I actually do but not in this degree, hehe) and I can see only color red, what color do you think I will see when I look at you? If the analogy of red is aggression/conflict/fight/war you see what I mean...if this is all you know/see you will act accordingly, and it's not your fault, maybe this survival reflex dates back to your childhood and was back then only way conscious or subconscious to deal with issues when you were most vulnerable "abandoned by the people that should love you the most"- Will Hunting. You will see red in people even present in traces, and amplify with disregarding other parts of "visible spectrum", since this is your domain of perception and "expression" you will try to show even love with emotions totally opposite like fear, jealousy, mistrust, anger matching the intensity, which looks like a destructive cycle, living hell. Experience of Art helps us to see/feel more clearly/powerfully, to be more aware and conscious about ourselves which reflects to the whole experience/existence.. to broaden our narrow vision. Coming closer and closer to the infinite Light which is warm and loving, it melts cold ice deep inside, and Life starts flowing through you effortlessly. We become better human beings. Wish you bright light on path of Life!:)

Musically and visually this is an absolute masterpiece. You must have put a lot of time, effort and money into this and it shows that you weren't going for quick fortune and fame but wanted to create something new and artistic. You are indisputably the frontrunners of a new genre and I can only admire that. If AWKAEL is a prelude for what is to come then it is almost inevitable that the new album will surpass the debut album and that is a job that I thought was impossible. Deep, deep, deep respect for this and I hope to see you soon in the Netherlands.

The red is communism taking over. I kid lol Interesting video. My interpretation is people’s ugliness in times of struggle. The one guy leaves his friend to save himself and get “corrupted” by the red. His friend catches up and kills his friend to liberate him and the world and possibly get revenge. but corrupts himself in the process. What do you think?

Having heard the debut literally hundreds of times since 2015, I couldn't be happier right now. I'm not really the emotional type, but there's seriously tears in my eyes right now, that's how exited I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so looking forwards to continuing this musical adventure! :D

Recap: Two entities made of magma and lava wake up in a Roger Dean painting. They venture on a quest for an Epic Guitar Solo, fueled by a soundtrack that is the beginning of a classic Yes song. They reach the Gate of Tauntment only to find that one of them is weighted down by extra magma. But it is the lucky one, for the gate breaker realizes too late that it has entered the room of the inescapable Maze of Carrying Pointy Things and Lower Back Pain. Upon seeing the Battle of the Puppet Knights, it is infected by the King Midas virus, except everything turns red instead of gold, becoming a stone zombie intent of reddening everything in its path. It must hurry to reach its origin to destroy all of Stone Kind. Its Slabmate chases it down and gives it a rock noogie which frees all who are enslaved, but also turns everything to ice. They never reach the Epic Guitar Solo, so file this under Tragedy. However, they were gifted some badass fucking drumming, so all was not in vain. Recommended: 33% sativa or microdosing. 89 tomatoes.

One of my big interests is video games and although a spline folks are limited in what we can play I still find them a lot of fun. This track made me feel like I was about to go into an epic Bossfight. And if that’s just the first track on this album I can’t imagine what’s going to come out of this.
