Hello everyone,
Welcome to the third part of this clean-up, we are getting very close to completing this job!
A question for you. Would you be interested in me recording a what a normal day of work looks like for me? Generally speaking, I do 4-8 jobs a day (depending on the size of the jobs) so the video would show bits and pieces of each of the jobs I do. I'd love to get your feedback!

Here in the US we have an early spring blooming deciduous shrub called Quince that looks like that corner shrub. I keep forgetting our seasons are opposite. We are sweltering in mid summer here right now! 😅

Those 2 flowerbeds you worked around in this video: id suggest just peeling them out, and having those areas as part of the lawn. Much easier upkeep. I know those are original to the house, and from before that big fence was put up, but really not doing much at all anymore.

Garden is looking lots better after all your hard work. Yes, I'd like to see a "day in the life of". Would be nice to see more of your work in my part of Melbourne. That plant with the pinky red flowers is a Chaenomeles Japonica (aka flowering quince). My garden-loving Dad always just called it "Japonica". Flowers on bare wood, leaves come later.

One visit! Ha! 😂. I’d love to see your normal yards too. I like your transformations especially because they are for people, not vacant houses. It makes a difference to me. P.s. the rule of thumb we used to use in planning software projects.: take the numeral and multiply by 2. Bump the time scale up by one. So a project you estimate would take 2 days will actually take 4 weeks 😂

What was that ground cover you were so diligent about removing? The flowering bush looked a bit like quince, do you know what it is?

The bush with the red blossoms like a Japanese Quench. The branches will have about a 1” thorn or about 2 1/2 cm long. And has a small green quench on the stems. About the size of a plum.

A properly done garden job once again, thank you for sharing this. Is the client still planting it as quickly as you clear it? We have had one of the wettest of years in the uk, its not great for us gardeners! I will happily be out in the rain but wont risk damaging soil structure by working it when saturated, some clients understand, some less so. It's such a hard balance when trying to earn a living! Loving this series and cant wait to see the next doozie you have for us. Take care x
