wow, this makes it doable now. i beat it a few times without the secret air pocket, but it nearly killed me, literally.

That level frustrated the hell outta me. I never knew about the hidden air reservoir. I've beat the level before, twice as a matter of fact, on two different playthroughs, out of 200 attempts, lol. But now that I know about that air supply, I won't need to make so many attempts. Bookmarking this video.

I think I might have beaten it once without the hidden air socket. Thankfully, my brother had subscribed to Gamepro magazine at the time at it featured many hidden secrets in the game, including the hidden air socket. Still not sure why in the Genesis version it gives you only 60 seconds instead of 80 in the SNES. Still enough time to complete the level though. Glad it was most helpful :)

Neither did I for awhile. It wasn't until I read an issue of Gamepro magazine that my brother got that I saw there was the hidden air socket. I think I've gotten through without it once. Strangely on the Genesis, it replenishes it up to 60 seconds as opposed to 80. Not sure why.

ThatOneGamer Hey I found that 1up the one you couldn't find. When you're in the globe thingy look around the top area. Its hidden within an illusion wall.

This is one of my most hated levels in any video game that I have ever played in 30+ years. Nice find though. Well done. 🐄

Thanks. I only knew of it thanks to GamePro Magazine that showed me the secret. Otherwise, I don't think I would have gotten past it at all. MAYBE once or twice in like 100 tries.

devs: how can we make this more annoying than it already is? lets make a wall with no collision and put the air supply behind it! 👽

And give no hint about it! Not even in the instructions or the level itself! Just force people to find it by accident or make them pay for the right GamePro magazine to learn about it!
