With our current technology, it would take about 80,000 to 100,000 years to get there. Although I give you kudos for a good effort, there is no currently known physics to accelerate an object like an asteroid to thousands of times the speed of light, which would have to be that fast to cross 150 light years in 5 days. Not to mention a supraluminal crash would never be detected or seen. Just a completely smashed Earth. Now more realistically, asteroids accelerated to near the speed of light would take a little over 150 years to reach us. Thus there is a slim chance either we can develop our own FTL technology and leave the Earth, a generation ship traveling hundreds of more years to reach a habitable star, or a shield technology or antimatter development to deflect or destroy the asteroids.

So far as we know nothing is faster than light. so therefore if something is 150 light years away that means it takes 150 years for that light (the fastest thing in the universe) to get here. Also note it is very plausible for such objects to go undetected in our own solar system. Having them originate from the kaiper belt would be a much more viable option. Not tryin to be a jerk but your vids are cool and thats one of those things that can take the immersion out of it.
