I’m used to hearing the siren after the attention signal, but since there were no tones at the beginning the siren actually scared the living fuck out of me. Lol.

0:00: 820 AM WBAP breaks the Amber Alert news to their listeners. 0:55: WBAP activates the Emergency Alert System for the Amber Alert thus relaying it to 96.3 FM KSCS, the other primary EAS station. 2:31: Amber Alert EAS is relayed to the rest of DFW stations via 96.3 KSCS, station heard here maybe is 93.3 KLIF-FM, 102.9 KDMX, 102.1 KDGE or 106.1 KHKS. 3:34: WBAP top of the hour calls and intro to top of the hour news, which covers the Amber Alert. 4:44: NOAA Weather Radio activates the Emergency Alert System for the Amber Alert, relayed to all Weather Radio stations in Texas.

Nope. KLBJ in Austin also used the siren as well. I haven't checked other stations yet, but I hope I'll find others as soon as I can.

Weird. Wonder why yall got them at 4 while i got my weather radio alert at 3:30 ? … and wonder why WBAP did it 2 times ? And why they did it a bit later ? I got my alert around 3:30ish ? Maybe its different on weekends.
