Damn, start off typical summer stuffs, add in some less typical stuffs, and then hit them with something not often in occurrence (tornado+flash flooding), but don't stop there; have lightning disable a nuclear power plant and a tornado do more damage. Make the worst of the worst come of it, but then the end... I know this is all about shock factor, but a chain reaction series of nuclear power plant explosions? The only way this would happen is if some sort of electrical failure were to consistently happen in a neighboring plant, but even then, we're talking about something that's about as likely to happen as the sun going into a nova stage (the percentage is less than one millionth of one percent). Also, stationary tornadoes, while realistic, are incredibly rare, especially concerning the larger ones that retain inertia a lot better. Even still, this is a kind of video that definitely deserved a mockup Doppler radar alongside it.
@Hirukaki6 жыл бұрын
Oklahoma local gonna be picky about the messages XD A tornado 'watch' is issues for a 'storm capable of producing tornados' A tornado 'warning' is issued at touchdown of a tornado- ie damage cloud on the ground Typically the tornado sirens will sound a solid tone at the watch, and the rising and falling tone at the warning

Think ya can do one of these for Georgia or Florida nuclear power plants? Im sure there are a few around lol. Like, maybe a meltdown like at Three Mile Island or Chernobyl
@Orca199046 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid I have to point out several fallacies with the radiological incident depicted in the latter half of your video; first off, it's extremely unlikely that a lightning strike could completely disable the cooling systems of a nuclear reactor; these reactors have multiple backups for all critical systems; if a lightning strike could cause such catastrophic damage they would never be allowed to operate in the first place. I also find it improbable that fallout from a nuclear plant meltdown in Arkansas would affect Oklahoma beyond maybe the easternmost counties, as the prevailing jet stream winds would carry the contamination to the east, north, or south, away from Oklahoma. Also, the idea that a nuclear meltdown at one power plant could trigger "chain reaction" meltdowns at other nuclear plants across the country, hundreds and even thousands of miles apart, is complete fantasy; after all, we didn't see such occurrences when the Chernobyl or Fukushima Daiichi power plants exploded, so there is no reason to believe such an incident would occur with nuclear power plants here in the US either.

How about one where farts are literally silent but deadly? Deaths are occurring mysteriously all over an area and expanding to a national emergency. The cause is found to be inhalation of poisonous gas, but can't trace the source just yet, so people are advised to shelter in place. The source is later found to be flatulence, so residents should step outside and hold their breath or go to an unoccupied room to pass gas and then seal the cracks in the door. The cause is later found to be an unknown chemical in cans of baked beans that are colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It reacts with the digestive system to produce a deadly noxious gas that is later passed but otherwise has no adverse effects on the human body. You could also include a terrorist feeding a hippopotamus at a zoo buckets of baked beans contaminated with the chemical, causing a large-scale evacuation.

Totodileluver Yee the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center is responsible for issuing watches for the entire continental United States. Tornado watches and severe thunderstorm watches are numbered in the same category. For example, if you issue a severe thunderstorm watch at 3:54 p.m., it will be severe thunderstorm watch number one. Then, if you issue tornado watch at 5:06 p.m., it will be tornado watch number 2 and so on. This is counting the entire United States.
