Great video! I was expecting the power plant to explode earlier when the tornado warning happened! With how storms are here, it seems impossible that this could ever happen but there's always a chance which is the scary part. There was a tornado in 1953 that killed 9 people in the Cleveland area and destroyed/damaged 2000 homes. It could definitely happen again.

Hypothetical meltdown from the tornado, step by step (inspired by the Fukushima accident): 1. The tornado knocks of the power grid 2. Following this the EDG’s (Emergency Diesel Generators) would power on automatically and the reactor would automatically SCRAM, inserting all control rods shutting it down 3. The tornado would somehow damage the EDG’s knocking out power again 4. Coolant pumps would shutdown due to the lack of power, emergency cooling would not work 5. The water would boil off and the fuel would heat back up due to decay heat and would begin to melt after the water boils off 6. The fuel rod cladding would release hydrogen gas as it melts from the fuel 7. Somehow oxygen is introduced, either from the fuel melting through the vessel or from steam pressure rupturing the vessel or a relief valve letting in oxygen 8. With oxygen, hydrogen and extreme heat, the reactor explodes

Request Location: Dublin, Ireland Time and date: 15th August 2020 1. We now interrupt your channel for emergency warning. This has been requested by Irish government. Apparently a beer factory also known as Guiness has had a malfunction and the syrup smell which is far deadly. Has spread. Anyone within 20 miles shall seek an underground shelter, grab medical supplies and food that can last for a week. 2. 321PM As of now, the Guinness beer syrup has spread violently killing up to 40 people. Anyone within 60 miles from Dublin, shall seek an underground shelter. 3. 513PM The Guinness syrup smell has spread in a furious rate having 80 people killed in just an hour. Dublin and other cities near Dublin has been completely filled up with corpses and a horrible smell. The hazmat is trying to deal with the smell, but it's so strong it can kill hazmats. The hazmat centre says that the smell will have entire Ireland destroyed. And the smell will also wreck Isle Of Man within the next few hours. Dead: 120

Great. Hurricane Ethan takes out the area where I was born and now an E4 tornado smacks into the place where I live. I think I've had enough for tonight. We get a lot of these weather warnings. Fortunately, none of them have actually come to pass, at least where I am. I've learned to pay attention to the warnings but also to watch the behavior of my female cat, Freyja. She likes thunderstorms and sits on the bed looking out the window as if she's communicating with Thor. If she ever slinks off and hides, that's when we seek shelter.

Don’t worry, any competent employee working at a nuclear power plant would SCRAM the reactor before a tornado would hit it. Even then, most nuclear power plants are designed to withstand winds 230-300+ mph, meaning that a SCRAM would be unnecessary. Nuclear power plants are designed to fail safely.

5:05 lolz ' *Sample Text* ' Quality Content So, I made a playlist of all of these videos. Yeah, kinda dumb, I know. Thing is, most people make playlists of their videos in a group, but I didn't see one for these. So, I decided to do us all a courtesy. I have a question. I know you don't do requests, but would you consider a collaboration? I already have an idea in mind, and I've made a script (it is about 88% done), as well as recorded some lines using Tom (which was not easy given my computer's lackluster hardware and the fact that I had to use a screen capture method but I got it done-sorta). I even made a static screen, though admittedly, yours looks better (and the font is different but I tried to find the closest one to it). Anyway, if ya wanna talk more on this, drop me a line. Some time back, I had binge watched the entirety of these videos; in retrospect, that was a massive mistake as it affected my sleep a great deal for some time afterward (and I have problems enough as is with my sleep cycle and insomnia), but of course, I was already afflicted by insomnia so I thought, why not. Of course, I wouldn't of found these at all if it hadn't been for a tech tips type of channel discussing an abridged history of the Emergency Alert System; the first video I saw of these was #20: Yellowstone. Glad I got acquainted with these, though admittedly, I likely wouldn't watch any of these more than once. As good of a story these tell, a lot of said story is left to the imagination. I still wanna see an alternate ending to #6. Well, I guess there wouldn't be much of one based upon what I had commented, but it would be interesting. Also, apparently, some KZbinr by the name 'Bad Senator' has done a showcasing of your EAS Scenarios. This just showed in my recommended feed as I was typing this. I might go and see it, to see if you get undeserved bad press, or if they're constructive.
