Summary: Tornadoes. One of Mother Nature's deadliest and most vicious Weapons. Usually, when one is on the ground, it can only mean trouble, especially if it's a long tracker or a Tornado Family. The Latter is known for Producing more than just one tornado, as a second satellite Tornado may be near the original one as well. A Noteworthy example of an outbreak that affected the southeast was the 2011 Super Outbreak, one that has held significance in a part of my life. While We All are Aware of the devastation that the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham Tornado left in the aftermath, one cannot help but wonder, what if a Storm, not only produced two successive large Long Track Tornadoes, the second just moments after the first's dissipation, in Portions of the Southeast, but left devastation unforeseen in Three areas as a result? Let's see where this takes us, then.

The muffled sounding TTS speech starting at 29:03 really adds an element of fear. Like since it’s being broadcast out of the impact area, the audio quality isn’t that great. Just adds another element of visualization that I love. Edit: Also starting at 46:46

Creator's note - I would like to thank all of you for having paved the way to 2K on my end of things. This is a token of appreciation to show my gratitude, an early release of Twister Trouble 2, a Sequel to the Scenario released in March. I made a promise to release it early if I reached it, and I kept true to it. With that said, enough of my rambling, and enjoy the video.

Heck, the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham EF4 was part of a family of long-tracked tornadoes IIRC. I think the only thing crazier that could have happened is if the Hackleburg/Phil Campbell EF-5 went through Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. It was the strongest tornado that day. And then there are the tornadoes during the 1974 Super Outbreak. Seven F5s that day. Still a record. The Xenia, OH and Guin, AL tornadoes were considered among the strongest ever. (Note: Writing this before I see the video. Always enjoy these scenarios.)

Great and well-done scenario. It's giving me some ideas of my own. One question: How do you do the pathcast of cities and what time they get hit? I can't get my AWIPS to work properly, and there's no other application that's really that helpful...

I have goosebumps everywhere 😨 This was really frightening and I live in Germany. We don't have many tornadoes. There is an alert system called KATWARN. Sadly, it's not very popular yet. Too many people here are still thinking, that the thread of tornadoes in Germany isn't real. But we register even more tornadoes every year. It's just a matter of time until they become bigger and deadlier But your simulation was very good and very terrifying 👍 Hope you all stay safe

Maybe pay attention to the amount of time between certain alerts in future...? 19 + 19 ≠ 30, and 30 + 19 ≠ 40. But what are we supposed to do if a tornado/flash flood combo happens? Go underground or seek higher ground?
@dutcheasfan6321
@dutcheasfan6321 5 жыл бұрын
Shelby Thibodeau I’ve thought of it and here are my pro’s and cons: Underground shelter: Pro’s: - You are safe from the tornado - You (likely) won’t get hurt by flying debris Cons: - The floodwaters could flood your house if it’s not destroyed by the tornado. - The floodwaters could be heavy if much on the Doors of your shelter, leaving you to be stuck until floodwaters receed. - If you have a shelter which is in poor condition, it could leak and possibly flood. Higher ground: Pro’s: - You (likely) won’t be able to be hit by floodwaters - If on a mountain, tornadoes have a difficult time getting up the mountain. Cons: - The tornado could still reach Miles high, and could still damage your location - You could still get injured by flying debris

@NittanyTiger1 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. It's believed to be one of the largest, though Wikipedia lists it as having only >51 tornadoes. It happened in 1884, so no telling how many tornadoes actually occurred and whether it actually beat the 1974 or 2011 Super Outbreaks. I just find this outbreak fascinating since it's not well-known except to maybe weather enthusiasts.

You just seemed "surprised" about back-to-back EF5s when it has happened before. It just hasn't happened to major cities. Now that would be bad. If you're mentioning the Tri-State Tornado, I guess part 3 might have either a repeat of that or a rival or worse very long track tornado.
