Last time I worked in Archicad was probably in 2014 bfore I moved to USA, and I believe it was Version AC 18... I see that it has changed a lot and looks much better. I still miss some of the features Archicad had. Since then, I had to learn and work in Revit and now I mostly model everyting in sketchup... I just wish there was a software that had all the benefits from Archicad, Revit, Rhino and the design flexibility of Sketchup. One can only dream.... Great video! Hearing you say some of the shortcuts brings a lot of nostalgia.

The second letter in the word 'escape' is 's' not 'x' but I like the video. It's only a shame that desktop computers cannot agree on anything but building market silos. I'm renting a car on Monday 3000km from where I live. Software companies, eat-your heart out! If only it where the side of the road. Good video.

hi david, nice video, I'm Mauro (the text is translated from Italian to English, I don't speak English, sorry). I wanted to ask you a question about AC26. I have installed the version (build 3010 FULL ITA), and in the 3D window view (shaw all 3D), the model always presents an annoying problem of: antialiasing (jagged lines). From your video, I noticed that you don't have this problem. Question: Can the AC26 and AC25 "antialiasing" problem be solved? (for example in AC24 it is not so accentuated) Thank you if you can answer me. Greetings Mauro. Usage: MacBook Pro 16 (M1Max, late 2021, macOS Monterey 12.6) and Studio Display

Awesome video sir👌👌. Sir I have just completed my class12 that is senior secondary school. I will be doing my bachelors in architecture or architecture engineering from Australia. So, I am confused between these two fields which one should I choose. If I talk about the technical part that is the engineering part, I m pretty confident about it that I will be able to do it and have immense interest in that, but I don't know about the design part whether I will be able to do that or not. As per now I dont know whether I have interest in design or not. So, I just wanted to ask that can a person learn and understand the designing part once he enters into the course. Also, I m very poor at drawing and I don't like it.

If you do not like designing or drawing (drawing isn't very important) it sounds like you would be better suited to an engineering degree. I made a video architecture vs engineering, worth watching. It might help

@@DavidTomic Thank you so much sir for the reply. Sir but it is said that architects are like doctors, they have the overview of each and everything, whether its about construction, material, structures. Therefore, I want to consider B.Arch also in my graduation. So, what if I take a degree that covers both engineering and architecture coz there are some courses like engineering with architecture which are available. So, in this case both the options would be open for me, once I complete my graduation. And then I can get specialization in one field. Sorry to disturb u sir again&again but I would highly grateful to u, if you could help and guide me about the same, coz I m heavily confused it.
