Your a beautiful young lady. I am an old lady & was taught in home ec that there is a difference in measuring cups. The one ypu measured the milk is a liquid measuring cup. The one you used to get the flour with is a dry measuring cup. There is a difference when measuring dry & liquid. Hope this helps.

Did you use self rising flour or regular
@cupcakescoupons14304 жыл бұрын
Self rising! If you don’t have that all you need for every cup of flour is 1/2 tsp of baking soda and salt!
@martinamartin4183 жыл бұрын
Self rising

So overall, the product came out excellent. The only issue was the depth. I was thinking I used the right size pan, but I reckon it was a tad too big. I reckon I'll either need a smaller pan, which won't feed much, or I need to double up on ingredients. This was my first time ever making a cobbler

I’m so sorry! How long did you leave it in the oven for? I cooked mine for 20 minutes because that’s how long my mom cooks hers. I had to add an additional 10 minutes because it didn’t set up all the way😐

Pretty sure that was NOT butter... it was plastic margarine... so unhealty.

Why not using fresh cherries or at least frozen? Also use real butter and you will end up with much better cobbler 😋
@ekbkjk7773 жыл бұрын
Because some people don't always have the time to pit cherries, or don't have a lot income (especially since pandemic) and they are looking for something quick and easy. Which is what she's trying to offer.
@dorotaross20153 жыл бұрын
@@ekbkjk777 I understand all that, but 1lb of frozen cherries from Trader Joe’s is only $3.99 Soooo much better and without extra sugar or preservatives 😋
@ekbkjk7773 жыл бұрын
@@dorotaross2015 Maybe try again with frozen but from a different store? I’ve once been to Trader Joe’s, traveling through a city, it is very nice but not close by. The closest one to me is a 48 minute drive. But thank you for the informative tip, good to know. (:
