A few additional things for beginners.. 1. Before cooking, make slits into the chicken pieces and marinate them for 10 to 15 mins with ginger garlic paste. 2. Then on Medium flame add oil. Once oil is heated then add the marinated chicken and continue with Paaji's recipe. The reason that's important is coz.. ginger and garlic burns when added to the oil directly and looses all its flavour also spluttering on you. The slits save that flavor and also make sure the spices enter the chicken and are juicy and tasty at the end of it all. Learnt it the hard way during my initial cooking years. Great video! Good quick presentation. Comfortable to watch. P.S. if possible, like someone pointed out use iron skillet. Enjoy!

For those who wanted to know why chicken is softer when frozen and thawed. Freezing makes the chicken tender because the water forms a tetrahedral cage structure when it freezes and expands, bursting the cells of the chicken muscle. That makes it tender when thawed, and it also juicy. Paaji knows this I know, so it's not for him 😊

@vsingh34935 жыл бұрын
If you are cooking after coming from gym, you are doing it wrong. The body needs quickly digestible protein within 60-90 minutes of workout. Chicken is going to take 3-5 hours to digest so there is no point just eating this after the workout. The immediate source of protein after workout should be a protein shake for immediate absorption and better results. Chicken should be secondary. Also, this recepie has too many spices, will cause bloating and gastric problems if consumed on regular basis.

If you tolerate spice pretty well, you can always change up the chicken by making different chicken curries. Salmon and lamb are also really good options. I try to avoid pork, even though it’s cheap and has good protein it’s not the best for heart health, but you’re young so it might not be an issue for you. Happy cooking!

Totally agree with Cook it out. A lot of people don't know how to treat chicken breast. 5-7 mins are enough. If you are not sure, you could just take out one piece and cut it open. Lots of recipes say: "Bake the chicken tikkas for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees". 25 minutes for small breast chunks on a skewer? Come on, that's like cremation dude. No point killing the poor birdie more than once.
