Ash have you considered trialing the pirate build. It feels similar to cookies in that its got some artifacts, gets on board, uses schooner etc.

I actually came from playing the pirate build, to this cookie build lol. I was the only one that went 3-0 at my last two standard events at my LGS with it. This next one, I’ll be running Ash’s cookie deck, so I’m hoping to be undefeated again! The pirate deck is a lot of fun to run, it’s fairly competitive, and can overrun people pretty early on. With certain matchups, sideboarding is key. Esp when bringing in more counter magic

The misplay was them putting audacity on questing druid and not etching. If they do that, they can just monstrous rage whatever isn't blocked for 6 damage.

I love Simic Cookies and I can't wait to try this new version post-rotation. I'm a BO1 unranked scrub but anecdotally Simic Cookies has something like an 80% win rate for me. I might properly dive into ranked BO3 with Simic Cookies with this next season, the deck is super strong and super fun to play

Most of the cards will not rotate out of Standard! Some of the lands like Otawara and Boseiju will, and there is a Tezzeret in the sideboard. But I'm pretty sure those can be replaced easily.

Yea the deck loses the 2 channel lands and 2 dreamroot cascades, outside of that it loses nothing!
