man i am no longer using the elgato wave mix app because i use a elgato wave 3 for 4 years during my 4th year going on 5th year owning this i had issues my lets plays not getting game audios it mutes audio after i update my pc so i am going for the beacn mix create and beacn studio . i am done for my elgato wave 3 i continue too use the elgato hd 60pro mk2 capture card i used the version 1 not the 2.1 hdmi one

Sorry to hear that. The only audio issues Ive had and they are rare is Wave Link will reset and all my audio tracks will disappear and I have to reset them. I think it’s happens maybe 3 times.

Missing of line in and out on XLR elgato product is a mess, I prefere to connect the audio interface to gaming PC to have no delay and use my mic in game. Hope there will be an upgrade of the xlr dock

Yeah I feel you on that. Hopefully they will update it in the near future, like this year would be great. Lol. I don’t mind not chatting in game as I always get chat banned. Ahahah. Another great feature missing it Bluetooth capabilities so you can use a wireless headset. A lot of head set have very little delay.

So I don’t talk in game. Hate having to deal with chat bans and audio issues, so I use Discord. I run it on my streaming PC.

The go xlr needs to be connected to the gaming pc, this is where all the audio is mixed, the line out of the go xlr goes to streaming pc aux-line in or mic if the mb has no line in.

I don’t use a Go XLR. I use the Wave XLR and I mix everything on my Streaming PC. I capture my audio from my Gaming PC with the 4K X capture card.

Does this work with a gaming pc and a laptop if I have a 4K X? I also have a wave xlr with wave dx microphone, only issue is you say the 4K X plugs usb c into streaming pc, but I am using a streaming laptop, but the wave XLR also plugs in with a usb c. Do I plug the wave xlr into the laptop as well with a splitter, or do I plug it into the gaming PC. TLDR Gaming PC -> Streaming laptop 1) 4K X Usb c plugs into streaming laptop 2) Where does the wave xlr usb c plug-in?

Sorry for the late response. It would definitely work with a gaming PC and Laptop as long as the laptop can run OBS or which ever streaming software of your liking. Hmm. Wave XLR should be USB C (back of Wave XLR) to USB A (into your Laptop) and 4K X is USB C (back of 4K X) to USB C (into your Laptop). Wave XLR plug into Streaming Laptop. Need it to run Wave Link software to route all your audio to your stream. Also, I don’t use game chat, I use Discord, so if you wanted to use game chat, you would have to purchase a secondary Microphone. Like a cheap USB microphone just to communicate with game chat.
