From what years would I need to be looking at if I wanted to go down this route, ideally want one that’s on 15/16 plate and above ? @rusty

The engine needs to be ran ‘stand alone’ anyway, so the a1 donor car could be newer than my 2010/11 model.

@@rustypaint Ahahaha Yh it s platform issue . I was warned that crossing them is not a simple mix .. but same time was told all sorts of other stuff and made them work so Yh.so was this the 1st time ya acc realised that the chassis was the same as the fabia ?? From polo 2002+ Ibiza 2004+ Fabia 2002+ Audi a1 All these up to like 2018 share the same chassis so engines suspension brakes mounts seats sensors and all sorts are all interchangeable it’s crazy
