Hello! So glad I found your channel - you are exactly what I need as far as hair tutorials 😊 I have wavy hair as well - but have been straightening my hair for years because I can't style my wavy hair anymore without a ton of frizz. For me, using a diffuser makes my hair curlier. If I air dry, the weight of my wet hair will give me more of a wave. If you’re just wanting to test to see if your hair will curl, but don’t want to invest in a diffuser just yet, as long as you scrunch your hair while it’s wet to enhance the curl pattern, you should be okay to let it air dry to see if it dries with a wave or curl. 😊

Oh my gosh your hair looks so much like mine when mine was longer. But sadly i wanted a stacked bob after wearinf my hair natural for 3 yrs and after about 4 months i was ready to have my wavy hair back 😟 so i been letting it grow out for the last 6 months or so and just recently got it shaped up to wear it natural again. But its at my shoulders so i got a ways to go before it gets your length again. But i do have a question, ive noticed when my hair is short i have to make more of an effort i guess, to style it to where it looks good. When its longer it seemed so easy. Have u ever had this issue?

I’ve had my hair at shoulder length once about 4-5 years ago. It looked super cute short, but I just like my hair longer with my face shape. My good friend has short curly hair and it looks SO good on her! I’ve always loved my hair long, and always regret cutting it. I totally know how you feel! Thankfully it does grow back! Yours will be long before you know it! 💕

It all depends what you want and how much hair you have. I've been caring for my curls for 3 1/2 years and my hair was the longest it's ever been because I didn't know what to tell the stylist either. I watched & follow a lot of YT curlies influencers and it seems like, what used to be a big thing, isn't anymore, especially if you have low density hair, and that is not going with lots of layers. You don't want them to use thinning shears or slicing (it's basically hacking your curls). Hope that helps. God bless you too.

After years of getting haircuts and never loving my hair… I decided to start cutting my own. 🫣 lol When you get your hair cut I would specifically say that you don’t want your hair thinned or feathered. It seemed a lot of stylists would want to feather my hair as they cut and it made my hair have little flyaways EVERYWHERE. I would ask for long layers. You could also look around for someone who specializes in curly hair cuts… or ask around if you know someone with curly or wavy hair who they go to. I hope that helps! @@Getcurlywithraya I'm not real confident in cutting my hair. I do do curl-by-curl cut, but it does need to shaped. I would love to learn to cut my own hair and shape it up, with just a little layers on top for some lift. I took forward to your video on how you cut your hair.

How long does your curls last with this technique? Also what does your have look like dry before any products

My hair is frizzy and has some wave if air dried without products. I can’t ever just let it be air dried unless it’s going in a ponytail. Even then, I’ve got crazy frizz so I can’t just do nothing to it. This technique will last me about 4 days before I wash again. I always do a quick refresh every day by lightly misting over it with water and add a little more product if I feel like it needs it. Usually I don’t need to add any.

No no it's not normal to lose hair and shed all over the place 😂 I love mouse Stop brushing is ans scrunch on wet hair bet it looks diffraction

I have a video where I don’t brush at all and only scrunch. It definitely gives a different look. So many ways to style. 💕 It’s totally normal to lose hair. People typically lose 50-100 hairs a day. 😊
