It can't be easiest and most expensive. Expensive is not easy. Who has 100,000 Euros a 5 year lease, and 10,000 a month? Most jobs in Malta pay like 200 Euros a month.
@rklight33 Жыл бұрын
He said 10,000 per year
@Flat_Earth_Sophia Жыл бұрын
@@rklight33 Who cares? It's still impossibly expensive with zero benefits.
@rklight33 Жыл бұрын
@@Flat_Earth_Sophia Well, it’s relative, of course, to what one’s net worth is. $100K, plus $10K per year in rent (which is an absolute effing steal compared to rent in Los Angeles, NYC, etc) which can then give me access to Schengen (though I’m not clear if the 90 out of 180 day restriction is in effect for just 5 years of residency in Malta or not), does not strike me as a “zero benefit.”
@Flat_Earth_Sophia Жыл бұрын
@@rklight33 Its not relative to your net worth. Its relative to the wages. Which makes this residency worthless.
@M-zg2sg Жыл бұрын
@@rklight33I totally agree!

You don’t get a job or subsidised university education with a Maltese PR. This is misleading info

This is a language barrier, I think by 'covered' I think Laszlo meant that the children were good to stay for their studies, not that their studies were for free. Study fees in Germany are EUR 500 a year. Do the Math.
@mkishon Жыл бұрын
When you talk about 500 euros/year for health insurance, is this the EHIC card? As I understand it, you need to actually live in an EU country, at which point you can get the national ID card, and only then apply for insurance in the country you live in, then apply for the EHIC card, which allows you to use your local insurance in any EU country. where am i wrong?
@TheWanderingInvestor Жыл бұрын
Laszlo was referring to mandatory additional private insurance. Not the government one.

Malta passport for this money is worthless and permanent residency in Malta is worthless. Much cheaper programs are out there in EU

Yeah. Notice this is only for white people. If you are African, Arab, or Asian, you can get free residency anywhere in Europe, and THEY PAY YOU!
