I have applied quick beads five months ago to the family truckster and it still looks glossy. Yes the water beads are oblong and larger but the vehicle sits outside 24/7. Every product from DIY has exceeded my expectations. Fab your truck looks amazing!

Used it for the first time yesterday as a topper on my vehicle which is ceramic coated. I don’t know what I did wrong but it streaked like crazy. I followed the directions to a t. I didn’t use a lot, cool vehicle, out of the sun, sprayed bottom up, didn’t let it dry. it’s a black vehicle, super cool product, I’ll give it another try for sure but that is a downer

The water is spreading the DIY Detail Quick Beads, your not rinsing it off

@v8tergt6538 ай бұрын
It looks like you’re using a Adams blower for drying. Have you use a leaf blower? Wondering if it works the same or if theres something special about using that blower instead.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing8 ай бұрын
Yes it is the Adams blower. I have used a leaf blower multiple times before I got the Adams blower. Leaf blower works ok but the dedicated blower from Adams cuts the time in half. It has a more direct air flow out of the nozzle unlike leaf blowers that kind of spread the air out as it comes out the nozzle if that makes sense.

Hi, I’ve just read on DIY detail’s fb page, someone applied quick beads, rinsed off and then followed it up by applying DIY’s ceramic gloss, is that a good idea? I’m a 67 year old newbie to this, but I will say his truck looked amazing.

Yes that is a great combination. You are basically using Ceramic Gloss as your drying aid.

I get pretty bad streaking with Quick Beads. Did you get any streaking?
@FABAutomotiveDetailing Жыл бұрын
I did not and have not on what I have tried it on. Typically streaking will come from using to much product.

@Sharon2426 Жыл бұрын
You showed doing your wheels first but I still gotta go up top and do my hood of my truck and also what about around the door frame you didn’t show that and what about the roof I mean you have to put the product on and wait and then rinse it off but it’s still falling down on what you previously supposed to be protecting. Another words it seems like you should start with the hood of your vehicle and work down, I’m still confused.

Basically, anyone that doesn't have an indoor place to wash their vehicle can't use this product. Guess you could take your vehicle to one of those coin operated pressure washer places and use it. Most of us in the south don't have trees or shade at our houses.
@kirkwilson5900 Жыл бұрын
Nah you can use it outside, try the method of spraying it into the water stream of your hose while spraying. It frighin works. If you truly don't have shade, try it that way, you won't be sorry
