Thank you!

Really enjoyed watching you make the puff quilt, very relaxing to watch. And you did a great job on it, looks beautiful! I love sewing but haven’t pulled out the ol machine in a few years. Makes me want to get it out and try my hand at a puff quilt! I’ll let you know if I make one! Ps, my mom taught me and we also took sewing lessons together years ago. Thanks for always inspiring me! ❤

My mom made her wedding dress and my cousins prom dresses. She made all my Halloween costumes. I started sewing at age 5. My mom taught me. She also taught me to knit and crochet and do embroidery. Great job. Keep it up. 💙

@@ChannonRoseVlogs I think I will give it a go! I'll probably do what you did and buy precuts because I feel like cutting the fabric is just as big of a job as sewing the whole thing lol. I just finished making a bucket bag out of a old pair of Levi's I got at goodwill :)

Wow, Channon, you are both talented and very patient..that would take me MONTHS not a couple of days. You are so neat and meticulous with your work also. I did wonder if perhaps using pins might have made it easier. I have done a little bit of quilting in the past and we always used pins. I tend to he all thumbs and cannot survive without the trusty pin! ❤🌵P.S. Nothing wrong with being a slow learner. I am a slow learner too! Repeated watching of videos, reading and making mistakes usually teaches me lol.

The blanket is great , i personally would fill it up so much but that's my taste. Also I would make a white one so i can put a sheet on top of it , in case it gets dirty ❤

Channon I think you did an awesome job. It can feel overwhelming when your making something for the first time. When we continue making it we get faster and learn hacks when we are doing it and it's note so overwhelming. To take on this project on top of recovering from surgery and taking care of the kids you should be really proud of yourself. Not everyone is capable of doing this! I hope you rest a litte more because your body will heal better. 😊

Nice quilt. Here is a tip. When you are organizing and stacking them, be careful and always stack from the same direction. I noticed the first row you stacked left to right but the other rows you stacked right to left. Luckily on this quilt it didn’t matter but on some quilts it will matter, so alway stack the same direction.

It’s so beautiful!!!! I made a quilt for the first time using my son’s clothes, my son passed away a few years ago at 21 years old but the cutting of the clothes took a few days, it took me 3 weeks to make it but worth the hard work. These hand made quilts are so precious ❤

24:50 I always wanted to get married and have several kids. No one ever wanted to marry me, but do have one child. A surprise when I was 30. Now I'm ready for grandchildren, but my daughter is 19 and planning to get a masters degree, possibly a PhD, so who knows if it will happen. Super proud of her whether she ever has kids or not!

21:05 my mom taught me. Her skills are fairly basic, as are mine. I struggle following a pattern. I haved sewed in like 35 years. I said 25 in my other comment lol. Lost a decade somewhere! My grandma sewed as well, but didn't teach me. She did leave her sewing machine to me.

A 14 year old cannot consent. You depended on the adults to say no, not “pass you around” whether you knew it or not. Men can try and justify their behaviour by saying you were selling yourself or whatever however the fact is that they sexually assaulted you then paid you to shame you and excuse their actions
