Hi Sean. This was in my top 3 golfing instruction videos I’ve ever seen and has changed my game forever. Thanks so very much!

@ yes!! Changed my chipping forever and I’m finding it very helpful on my 7-8-9 clubs as well. What a bonus for me. Thanks again.

That is a fantastic drill. I have never thought of that. I have struggled for ages with chipping however this has improved over the last month or so since changing my whole golf swing philosophy around Easyswing. I can’t wait to try this “along the ground” focus next time I get a chance to hit some balls. Brilliant. 👏👏👏

Thank you so much. This is the best video I've seen that finally got me thinking the right way about chipping.

Thanks Gregg. Yes, I know what you mean. Better to stay away from technical analysis as much as possible.

perfect Sean , but what about small approaches of 3.4.5 meters? thank you

The most important thing in this case is your choice of club. A lot of amateur golfers think they need to use a pitching wedge just off the green when in actual fact a less lofted club is much more effective.

Very good vidéo ! Really love the concept and tried it on course…. Stunning Ps : many of your vidéos suffer wind problems….

With a driver though (unlike the other clubs) - don't you want to try and "swing up" a bit to maximize height and distance?
4 жыл бұрын
I get the point of your question. Remember that the template we are taught is for elite athletic players. Therefore they are most likely to be using Drivers with very low loft. This means it will be beneficial for them to swing upwards to maximize distance. However, if you have a Driver with a higher loft, which most senior golfesr do, then I ask is it really necessary?

Hi Sean, slowly working my way through your videos for the second time. Wish I could spare the cash to visit you in Mallorca but as a pensioner it’s just not possible at the moment. It’s like a breath of spring being able to let the tension go from the set up and swing. I was one of those “do it like Hogan” golfers! I do have a particular difficulty though, and that is finding the position I should place the ball in. For some reason the bottom of MY natural swing is further back than centre. This means that if I place the ball opposite my sternum for a mid iron, I thin and or hook always getting the ball out of the toe of the club. In desperation I started moving the ball further and further towards the trailing leg and the strikes are much more predictable. Could you please do a video on how to find the bottom of an individual swing? I find your calm teaching manner so easy to follow. Thank you.

Tim Arnold thanks for your comments and you are not the only one who has tended to veer towards moving the ball back in the stance. Many have, including Brian. It is a great topic for a video and it looks like you have already found the answer - through experimentation and finding out what works for ‘your’ swing.

Seán I would love to have a swing caddy but can’t justify the £160 odd. Shame it’s so expensive but I suppose it’s a limited production. I have seen a similar exercise with a roll of cling film on a club shaft.

So, Sean, cashed in an ISA and purchased a swing caddy. Took me a few goes to get the double click working. Looking forward to the video you are doing re ball placement.

Just like the Easiest Swing, the head moves toward the target during the shot. Hard to hit a fat one when doing this!

Sorry, but making video in so strong wind isn´t a good idea, because of terrible quality of the video sound ..

Yes, I couldn’t agree with you more, Tomas. It’s not only Sean - so many KZbin videographers have this problem with outside videos. Yes, I realise that videos such as these are free and therefore one can’t expect high-end production standards. However (and I’m far from being an expert on this) it seems to me that it shouldn’t be so hard to eliminate (or at least reduce) wind noise. 2 minutes on a search engine and I had a rudimentary idea of where to start - e.g. just get some “fur” designed for crafting kids’ animal toys and find some way of wrapping it around the microphone head ( elastic bands ?) - not perfect, but apparently a big improvement ... I dunno, but if I was posting KZbin videos, simple personal “pride” in trying to do the best job possible, would cause me to find a simple (if not perfect) solution to the problem. There again, I’m just a guy on the sidelines who hasn’t ever put a video up ( at least not outside on a windy day) 🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨

BTW - I realise that I’m very late with the above comment, but I believe it’s still valid and relevant from what I’ve seen recently ... just sayin’ ...... ☺️
