Thanks Sean, I have ordered the book and look forward to this practice on the range. I am a retired physician at 77 and love this game. I have been away from it too long. Great instruction, keep it up.

It’s as if Swinging Legs communicates directly with the subconscious, bypassing all the clutter and nonsense. This can’t be done too much. Thanks Sean.

Seán Herron - Easiest Swing Coach can you please advise the reason why this movement can help avoid slice? thank you
5 жыл бұрын
@@eddieliu1913 yes because it helps you turn more efficiently, both ways, allowing the clubhead to want to go back and forward more on the plane rather than outside the plane

Hi Sean I haven’t tried this drill yet but I’m intrigued by it. I suffered a spinal chord injury and so my balance is seriously compromised. I’m often in javea Spain. Where are you located as I would like to arrange a lesson Nick Rust

Easy swing is a game changer for me since I started making my arms relaxed and my movements are smoother! My question is how lower I should bend to make sure the easy swing method is successful ? Especially with the shorter clubs !!

I find this drill stops me from leaning back as l strike the ball. It encourages the correct forward swing. Thanks Sean

Absolutely! Great observation and that forward movement that you mention is a key part of the Easiest Swing philosophy.

One very important question, if you are hitting the ball reasonably well with the Swinging Legs Exercise, do you continue with it in competition or revert to your normal swing, you could be liable to a bit of ridicule on the first tee.....thanks very interesting idea.
5 жыл бұрын
Ideally you would use it as your pre-shot routine, to remind yourself of the movement you are looking for and to consolidate the 6 basics. If not as a pre-shot routine then certainly as a warm up exercise. The ridicule from others will simply because they do not understand that the golf swing movemnet is a natural dance-like movement. You will have the last laugh I am sure.

Sean, thank you for the instruction. I noticed that the lead leg touches the ground first with the weight shift, just before the down swing starts. I tried this, instead of starting the down swing at the start of the weight shift and find that there is more power and speed with the leg coming down first. Is this correct? Thanks.

Absolutely corrrect and try to get the same feeling when you swing.

The ball seemed to be in the same position for both the utility club and 9 iron. Is that by design ?
5 жыл бұрын
Well spotted David. I am very supple and athletic so I don´t tend to have the ball further back in the stance but for those golfers that struggle to turn as freely as I can then I would suggest playing around with this exercise with the ball further back in your stance. See what works for you....

Sean. After trying the easiest swing several years ago and moving away from it , after watching several of your videos today I think I’m ready to give it another try. I have continued to watch videos over the years without doing the swing. What setting do you use on the swing rite you are using? I look forward to trying again.

Somewhere mid to high setting I suggest

Sean: it appear that your hips rotate back before the club head leaves the address position. Is that true and prudent

Chris Byrd I would say they move together. Either way I think what is important here is to make sure you get a full turn!!! However you do it just make sure you turn properly.

Sean, I have been working on the Easiest Swing for about 3 years with mixed results. When I first saw this video I questioned how this might to my fit in my understanding of the Easiest Swing. I tried it on the practice area today and was pleasantly surprised how it seems to answer questions about timing of impact vs left foot plant. At 79 I can’t swing my legs as far as you but it gave me some great ball strikes. One question. When you make the transition from the swinging legs to a normal swing; how does the swing movement change in you mind? Is it all about weight shift? Thank you Jim
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, Thanks for your comment and a great question too! The only thing that changes from the swinging legs movement to a normal swing is the legs don´t swing. I try to maintain the same feelings for every other moving part.
@terrykarsonovich5370 Жыл бұрын
You seem to be making a conscious effort to step forward with your left leg before starting your hands forward is this intentional?
Жыл бұрын
I am simply trying to make contact with the ball and whatever happens, happens. In other words I try not to interfere with what this Swinging Legs Exercies is getting me to do.
@bamicus93425 жыл бұрын
Just noticed something Sean, you can’t do this well if your body is tight, or tense. Something that I struggle with. When I play bad, it’s always tension that produces bad shots!
5 жыл бұрын
Hi Rick, Am I reading thsi right? I think you may have meant when your body isn´t tense you can do this move well as opposed to when it is tense. In this case, I tend to fully agree. You cannot dance well or move wefficiently when the body is tense.
@bamicus93425 жыл бұрын
Seán Herron - Easiest Swing Coach Opps! Forgot the ‘t, it’s corrected now. If I’m tense, I lose my balance.

Fascinating Sean! Thanks again. I am so encouraged by the fact that the head can move relatively freely on the B/S and that the right elbow can bend! Have ordered the book and look forward to trying on the range for the first time. My present swing doesn’t look pretty so am not concerned about appearances while trying this! May I ask how far you were hitting the balls on average and approx clubhead speed? Is it possible to buy the Hole in One separately on the website and at what price? Many thanks Regards Ian Inverness (pity you are not closer!)

Hi Ian, great that you have discovered the Easiest Swing! You will find Brian´s book fascinating too! I hit a 7-iron around 150 metres, not entirely sure about the swing speed. You can buy the Hole-In- One club here: easiestswing.com/our-products/
