Two notes: 1. For anyone who's having difficulty getting the zombie to hit their villager, just walk away from the hall after lowering the villager, the zombie is probably targetting you instead of the villager. If that doesn't work you may want to lead the zombie to the villager you want it to target. 2. If you want to replace a villager's work station repeatedly you can put a trap door on the upper half of the block above the work station. This will let you grab their work station after breaking it while also preventing the villager from getting out.

3:42 Make sure your difficulty is set to "Hard" or else the villager can die as there is 50% chance of villager becoming zombie villager in "Normal" mode. In "Hard" mode there is 100% chance. :)

That's calling a "nerf" - to downgrades the power of some mechanics, so players won't get any high unlockables very fast. Here they did it with villagers, especially nerfing librarians, so people won't spam with enchanted books too early.@@JairOnTelevision

I think post 1.20.1 you can only cure villagers once to discount their trades doing multiple times to the same villager doesnt effect the price. Also in the 2 block space where you put a work station above the redstone place a top slab on the top block so u can sneak in and out to get the minecart.

I have two problems: (I’m playing on Bedrock 1.20) 1. My zombie keeps targeting only one villager and ignores any other one 2. My villagers keeps linking to workstations that isn’t in front of them and that would be fine but it’s confusing if I want to refresh the trades

They link almost directly when A is removed and B is already standing. Just do it twice, remove B while having placed A. I guess with this set-up, do they link with 2 blocks apart? Also just read on this comment section that workstations can get 'locked and linked' to other villagers, don't know if Java or Bedrock

For anyone having a problem with getting villagers I suggest you build a villager farm breeder, it does indeed transport villagers immediately to a minecart and you can make it go anywhere you want.

I have built this on a large scale, i think about 25-30 villagers now. All of them Librarians for enchantment books, all locked in and trading with a workstaion in front of them. The problem i have is that sometimes, when i add a new villager and place the lectern down, there is no sync. I then discover the new lectern has synced to a another villager that has already synced to another lectern, de-syncing from the original one placed down in front of him. I have now probably reset the whole thing 3 or 4 times, by breaking all work stations and re-syncing all of them one by one. They are all locked in and can continue to trade, but when adding a new villager gets frustrating when it de-syncs.

have a separate place for breeding and your trade hall and make sure to find the enchantment you want first. you can destroy their workstation and it wont remove their job so long as you have done a trade beforehand

as long as you have traded with them once, their trades should be locked in permanently. Though you could loose them if something goes wrong during the transformation (zombifying) stage. Make sure they are covered from the sun and way from iron golems too.

Punch the zombie then go around and stand in front of the villager u want to convert. Then walk backwards as far as possible. The zombie will lose sight of u and attack the villager.

Everything works fine with one slight issue, I am running Java 1.20. Once I place the villager in its station and I break its mine cart, it hops to the back where the zombie is. If I don't break the mine cart, it seems I am unable to get them to engage a workstation. Again, everything else works PERFECT but this one issue is quite irritating
