You can code the CIC for the box to use the CICs internal aux port.

Oh hey Even,, wanted to say thst i got that AVIN Avant 4 Radio because of your Video way back when. I had been looking for a good looking OEM Radio :).. Now i'm waiting to install it aftermy E46 is ready for it.. yea,, i have to change my radiator and the thermostat. Having a over pressure issue with the cooling stystem.. lol So tell i get minner things like that fixed. The car is not ready for the Radio.. I Hope your get your E46 back on the road or a E46 with parts from your E46.. thank you for the Videos that you have done and will do.. Thanks Even.. 👍

Because you set the wrong DIP setting ( toggle switch on the side of the box).

It depand on which iDrive system for your E60 535I, if your car is CIC, can install this model (as demo) directly, if it is CCC, that have other model can fit it.
