I've done this job on my old XC90, just away to do it again in my current one (2007) after 170k miles. Thanks for all the tips you've passed on on this video, definitely will be using them this weekend. I'm not a religious guy (typical here in the UK) but i do thank God for everything positive in my life, i do believe much of what I've been given is a lot more than pure chance and luck. I get where your coming from!

Also looks like I am going to be doing this to my 2007 Vov. If I may interject, get into the Bible. Mainstream has lied about most everything, including the Bible. The Bible is legit I promise. It really helps a person understand this world (or humanity). If I may again, Chuck Missler, Dr Andy Woods are both amazing Biblical scholars it is honestly mind blowing once you start getting an understanding of the Bible there are so many facets it truly is incredible.

Thanks for sharing your skills. That ball joint is pretty shot. And I personally think that control arm could be replaced without loosening the strut to steering knuckle bolt and breaking the alignment.

Great video love the way you talk through everything. I did notice tho when you were hammering off the old arm a washer came out from between ball joint and top side of arm and you never put it back in. Hope that doesn't make any difference safe driving

Hello thanks very much for the video. I had problems getting the 2 bolts at the shock absorbers off, so removed 2 x 15mm screws and punched off the ball joint below the hub at the casing. Fitted the ball joint to the control arm and refitted the ball joint.

Thank you my brother in Christ. Unfortunately in the UK all those bolts would be welded on with rust and you’d need a blow torch and the strength of a bull to get them off. 😂
