I would definitely recommend a few fire extinguishers and/or the refillable water fire extinguishers. One rock or old t post in dry grass a lot can happen fast! I’ve started several with something similar when it happens it happens fast and luckily I’ve always caught it immediately and was prepared. Great video!

Nice! But a brush cutter attachment for the skidsteer might be better. You're gonna have a lot of little tire poppers out there. Tilting it down with a drop hitch would help a bit.

Please wear that tether (its not just a kill switch) also if using please install tether on yiur qaud) So I've used a similar machine clearing some trails on my Aunts land in Maine down here in the lower 48. (America) that off tether you mentioned around the 18-minute mark. ALWAYS have that attached to you while operating the qaud. Especially belt driven automatic qauds. If she were to hit a rut while looking back or rock, anything that might knock you off the qaud on ruff terrain (not all trails are flatter grass fields) if you fell to the right side qauds not going to stop, or if on a hill. The one I borrowed from a friend (I used his qaud also because mine is a Raptor 700R sport qaud no hitch and going slow sometimes isn't an option). He installed a tether on his qaud also (Can Am Renegade X XC 1000R). He said if you fall tether keeps the blades from killing you, but the other tether stops the qaud because the blades are so sharp if it pulled it into/over you even not running the blades would do alot of damage and out in the middle of nowhere couod be a death sentence.

Forget this, get a disc mulcher for your CTL or brush mower .. you could be clearing at 6’ width.
@ostacruiser14 күн бұрын
Great for open areas like this but we plan on clearing bush trails in middle of nowhere, places the bobcat would sink outra sight lol
@zfilmmaker14 күн бұрын
@ that’s a good point, it’s marshy where you are… I forgot that. What about a small cabbed tractor like a Kabota on tracks pulling a 10’ Schulte mower? My Schulte batwing easily chops up 5” thick brush.

So this comment's not related to this video. In particular, but was watching your hay. Cutting video and noticed you mentioned you struggled with getting that 3 point on. Check out a product called Pat's easy change. They make putting on 3 point attachments, super easy and It's not the same thing as a quick hitch

Hey I have a question for you David I bought a can am 2024 850 XMR 5 months ago and I would like to put assassinator on it can I put 32s on it I do know I would need to do floor boards to make them fix but I have warranty for 36 more months and do want to void that can I run stock clutches I will remove everything to take it in for service or repair but what should I need to do to make them fix and it will work fine I have looked into getting them scooped and grooved to take about 10-15 lbs off I've been told and looked up if I do that the weight would pretty much be the same as the stock cryptid. I been watching you for years and I hope you get back to me because I trust your opinion
@ostacruiser14 күн бұрын
Yes floorboards for sure for 32s
@davidconaghan609114 күн бұрын
@ ok thanks 🙏 but I don’t need to do clutching to run them ?

The only issue I see is the cut brush and sticks sticking on top of it and preventing the cutters from doing their work
@ascrazyasitseems17 күн бұрын
How much are these and are they available for shipping to Sweden?
@robertmcdonnold30387 күн бұрын
Hard to tell how good it was cutting. You stayed too close to the machine to see the trail it was cutting. It leaves too much trash on top of the machine.
@rytime70016 күн бұрын
Perhaps a QUAD WITHOUT A CLUTCH KIT!!!!! THE KEY IS SMOOTH EVEN PRESSURE....AND YOU CAN NOT GET THAT WITH THAT HALF RACE CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT! THROW IT ON A STOCK 450 AND ITLL BE TONS EASIER TO USE!
