I use my Design Space mat as a reference. Line your vinyl pieces on your mat according to the lines on your Design Space mat on your screen. If the screen image is between 1 and 3 vertically that is where you put your piece of vinyl that corresponds with the size of the image. Same thing for the next piece of vinyl. I hope this helps.

This is such a great tutorial, especially for beginners. I started making a monogram decal for a notebook til I ran into a problem. I didn’t know if I need to put each layer on the actual product or blank I’m using or layer it on the vinyl itself then add it to my product? It seems tricky to do it that way if you have to peel each transfer tape off each time. By the way, the strong grip transfer tape is horrible. IMO. Doesn’t grab the vinyl easily and it’s hard to detach it to from the vinyl once you lay it down. What’s the best thing to use for easily transfer?? Thank you again for this awesome video, I’m a noob with my Cricut Joy.
