Hey is there a way to just get those chords into the MIDI region like in the pianoroll so that I can remove the chord trigger plug-in and use the chords with other incompatible instruments as well

I’m sure there is but it’s probably through another plugin. The chord trigger wouldn’t do that , I don’t know exactly which one would but there’s def some out there that place the chords

Your Grand Piano and Pad preset has a drop down arrow because it's 2 in 1 instruments so open the box by clicking on the arrow and pick which instrument you want to put the Midi effects on like the Chord Trigger.

Diatonic sounds good because it doesn't go outside the scale you used haha. It sounds like the other options go outside the scale which make it sound weird.

Try adding the Transposer on top of the chord trigger so you have 2 midi effect plug ins. And pick the same key as the chord trigger but choose a Major or Minor scale. The problem with the way you're doing it is it just does all minor chords if you just use the chord trigger but that's not how Functional Harmony works. In Major for example each chord is a combo of both Major and Minor chords. In the key of C Major it go's 1C)Major 2D)minor 3E)minor 4F)Major 5G)Major 6A)minor 7B)Diminished. So makes sense why nothing but the Octaves would work, so would the Perfect 4th and 5th. Trust me try anding the Transposer on top of the chord trigger and do that exact same idea you came up with. It'll make more musical sense. You could also try Harmonic minor scale.
