When you click in a note on the pattern editor it creates region at the playhead. I usually just hit the return key and jump the playhead to the beginning so when I click in a note the region is created there. I find that to be a faster workflow than creating the region first.

thanks. was going to let you know on piano roll you can collapse mode to scale. its between show view and automation button. first quantize the scale then click the collapse mode. also I've been using the transpose plugin then turn it off and quantize everything back to the scale I wrote in so it puts everything on correct keys.

A Digital audio workstation that can't even keep proper time. Now that beats all don't it? Pops, clicks and can't keep time... not sure what good a DAW is if it cannot reproduce Digital Audio to Work on.
