i bought this machine in September 2018,, i love it,,, it is not cheap,, but,,, it works beautifully, nuts, seeds,, i love the hemp seed milk,, just made some a few days ago,, added chia seeds and fruit,, great !!! i have made , oat, sunflower, brazil nut with mango... and,, there is another container just for making the nut butters,, i enjoy the pistachio butter in my healthy oatmeal,,, and pecan milk, and pecan butter... there is just no end to what u can do with this device.... no more dairy.... as far as the cost,,, think of what you pay for almond milk commercially,, and,,, all the additives that go into the product on the shelf... this is a wonderful machine,, and,, i am not being coerced or paid to say this...

So what is the process to getting oil from the coconut???

That is a more complicated process. This machine will not make coconut oil. Generally, to make it cold press, you would shred the coconut dry it, and then use a oil extractor and run the dry shreds through the machine.

Which brand coconut flakes do you use?

Personally, I like to make my own for the highest quality. This time I used whatever my local sprouts farmers market sold in the bulk bins.

Why not just use a vacum blender ?

The Vacuum Blender will be the 1st step of making milk, blending, and then you still need to strain. I use a juicer. Some people use a nut milk bag. Basically each method has its own set of pros and cons. The pros of the nutramilk is that it is one machine and it blends and strains for you.
