It works well on uneven ground, the wheels did not get stuck and no I didn’t try on wet grass or leaves. It hasn’t rained here in a while.

I inherited one from my father that is about 65 years old! I have to disagree with you on one thing: they work best on *flat* ground. One tip that speeds your work up: if you have a large lawn,with lots of leaves,put down a tarp and dump the catcher on the tarp by turning the machine upside down. That way,you don't have to remove and replace the collection basket to empty the contents. A few leaves remain in the basket,but it still saves a lot of time.

There are hardly any leaves in that yard. I need to see this thing in action with a yard covered in leaves.My guess the bag will fill up quickly. Maybe this is a tool that is used before the yard is overwhelmed by leaves.

Yes it does. Well it does pick up the smaller ones. We don’t have the long leaf pines in my yard.
