Hi tevz from Sydney Australia. Thank you for your time and teaching. * After continuity of fuse looking for the cause. * I'm thinking instead of attaching a resistor use a Variac 60-120V if the fuse doesn't blow increase to 220V 🌏💫

The issue of the unit is no red indicator light but there is 3.3v stby .we have also 12v .5v and 1.8 v when power is on

Der Widerstand den er hier benutzt beträgt 220 Ohm 20 Watt! Man kann aber auch eine Glühlampe mit 230V/ 25 - 100 Watt in Reihe schalten.

Well, obviously removing the PFC works ... but why not just replacing the MOSFET? I mean ... if customer pays for it of course, missing PFC is on his electricity bill 😄

Most replacing the mospet is not guaranteed to work; if the mosfet gets short, the driver also gets damaged. The PFC only gives about 5 % less of the electricity bill.
