Lol. This is the honest truth with people starting online businesses. Many people are in a state of “euphoria” because of the earning cap potential that’s in FBA. Like any other business, most people aren’t willing to actually put in the time and effort to scale, and simply give up too early. Of course it’s not “easy”, but it’s definitely doable after grasping the basic concepts, and sticking to a specific strategy. I currently run a $1m+ FBA store. It takes time, but definitely rewarding in the long run.

I disagree I think private label is by far the best method. Retail arbitrage is more time consuming and you profit potential is capped and while wholesale is better like retail arbitrage you often get involved in price wars which usually ends in a race to the bottom. Private label is awesome because you can create a product and the higher amount to entry means of course that there's going to be less competition. While it is pricey I saved up $5000 over a few months to get started. It is definitely worth it in my opinion.

Hello Jatz, i love your videos. Very informative and easy to follow. This arbitrage retail method can apply to other markets besides Amazon. It is a matter to check prices and compare to other markets and wherever margin of profit is higher it is where you should put it on sale. Amazon eventually will face big competition from other retailer like Walmart, even brands like Nike offer their products on their website very lower price. What i see is that the future is develop your own brand to keep price competitive. Do you know of software used to operate an online store like this business, i mean where you can offer products, and keep track of inventory and people's data for shipping. Something automaticlly but for small online stores.

Just want to mention something I've learned in my own business experience. In the world of selling you can lower your Markup (your return) if your item's cost increase's if you're going through the hassle to list a $20 item your going to want to take home at least 30% or more and that's for many sales. "if your selling $120 items you can lower your markup because 30% gross profit would be much more profitable now.

Hi Jatz, Thanks for a very informative video. Quick question. If we buy arbitrage product on clearance from a local retail, does amazon take the product picture and upload on their own under FBA? Thanks

So if you do an arbitrage or buy a product from clearance , wouldn't that only be short lived ? Because there's only so much of the product on cleareance... do you just go around finding anything on clearance & send it to amazon ? How would you get the supply or volume that you need in order for amazon to even accept you in ?

Yes so this is where Amazon wholessle comes in where you can build a sustainable long term business

Even if you get 2-3 items on clearance just list it on Amazon, you can list as much as 1 item

I'm so scared to starting amazon FBA, i usually buy from supplier and sell on FB marketplace but it's tiresome because you have to chat with people for each sale and it's very time consuming. The only problem i have with amazon fba is returns (cause u lose all profit and cost) and the quality of items shipped from your supplier is not the best. I bought bags and had them shipped to my home and the quality of those bags are not that great, on marketplace it sells and nobody asks for refund cause it's final sale but amazon they can return easily. How do i go about this?

Only a small percentage will return, I notice somewhere around a 2-3% return rate. Most of the time people we will convince the customer to wait for another while we send a new item, vs returning them the full cost.

That is where this whole scam video breaks into pieces, the way he calculates the ROI is far to low. As a longtime Amazon seller, I know. hahaha

I thought Amazon warehouse/customer service would deal with returns
