OMG, I’ve quilted for eons and never thought to use a focus fabric for choosing my color palette. Brilliant!!! I’m trying to get a stack of quilts finished to donate to our local fire department. Definitely want to add one using your tutorial. Hugs from Maine.

@ This has been a passion of mine for awhile now. My plan is to have quilts for babies, toddlers, youth, teens and adults all finished. I have a great contact at the fire department. We decided it best to have him contact me with him requesting which category was needed and I will deliver to the station. And if I have say, 3 teen quilts, I would send photos and the recipient could choose one. That would happen for each category. This is why I am still setting up my stock so to speak. And I’m choosing to remain anonymous. My label says, Made with love by Grammie Berwick for someone who needs a hug. Berwick being the town I live in…. Not my name.

Thanks! Once again, you made a beautiful quilt look easy and calmed me down with your easy going demeanor and relaxing music. It was a tough day emotionally today. What a perfect way to end this day Thanks, Beth!

Oh Beth, I should never watch your videos while still in my pj’s! Now nothing will get done in the house but a quilt will be planned and cut. ❤

Great idea. Using 3 1/2 inch strips is a good way to use up small amounts of width of fabric leftover from other projects.

I loved the zigzag quilt with half square triangles 🥰 but this one looks even easier when you are just sewing strips together 😃 Thanks for sharing Beth 👏👏🇬🇧

I made this quilt before and instead of cutting the edge I added triangles using the background fabrics and it created the illusion of a border

This looks easy enough for me with the exception of the layout. That part may take me a Hot minute. LOL Beautiful quilt as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Beth! Great project-great quilt! When you got to the red row, the layout really clicked. What I would give to have my machine set down in a cabinet/table like that & have all that surface space 😊😊 As my friend would say "you stole that ruler!!" I want to shop at YOUR Thrift Store!!
