I make them when I sit down to watch TV. Love them . I normally crochet them. I have a wooden crochet hook my grandpa had made for my grandmother and I watched her make them. And I now have it, the hook. I find crocheting to be easier for me. ❤

Thank you so much. I am a self taught hand quilter and have tried many methods of basting but have had difficulty finding lumps on the back no matter what I do. I appreciate the visual of you using masking tape to secure the backing. That is the step I've neglected to use before and I'm sure that is the missing link. I willl be starting my basting tomorrow and then hand quilting. (I don't use a hoop either.). Love the look of hand stitched quilts. Love the quilt you demonstrated on...lovely!

Look at that! I still want to be like Beth. Look at how she can look in an old book, see a black and white photo, and just know that it is a beautiful quilt block! Another thing I can’t do. When looking at those small black and white quilt patterns..I don’t have the “eye”.. the vision ☹. I need it to be in color and bigger is better. Thanks Beth❤(KH)
